The girls water polo team did the best it’s ever done by achieving second place in state. New Trier won against Lyons, but lost against Stevenson in the State championship. “We really came together as a team to be the best we could be,” said sophomore Elizabeth McKenna. “The only things we can do for next year is continue the trends and do our best to get the trophy next year.” McKenna believes that the team next year can do even better than they did this year and within the next couple of years will be the best in state.
