New Trier’s Rowing teams wrapped up their season with the majority of teams going to Nationals and several high accolades among the 8+ person boats that competed.

Nationals took place over Memorial Day weekend in Princeton, New Jersey. The freshman boys were the highest ranking boat by placing first in the nation. Freshman girls and junior varsity girls placed second.

Varsity girls received tenth place at the competition, but they did proceed to both the semifinals and finals. Varsity boys had similar results, but they did not proceed to the finals, or place in the competition. Overall, the season ended well for New Trier, especially for the freshman and junior varsity boats. Although there was a slight letdown in varsity performance compared to last year, New Trier still holds a respectable legacy in the nation, with numerous opportunities to go to the national competition.
